#BoutofBook 9.0 Read-a-thon Update and Challenges

Today was the first day of the Bout of Book 9.0 Read-a-thon. Unfortunately, that means it also coincided with Ukrainian Christmas Eve, which meant I was in the kitchen all day cooking. That’s ok though because that mostly meant that as soon as I got something cooking I had some time to read, tomorrow won’t be the same story since that means a whole host of other dishes to make. Anyways, I managed to get some reading done and I was pretty happy with my progress!

The story:

I just read the greatest book!

This guy Romeo ends up in the middle of a/an emerald conspiracy. Turns out his/her ancestors were pirates, and he/she might be the key to finding the bitter bone. It’s a mythic artifact that disappeared centuries ago, and now a shadowy group of Fangirls are looking for it. No one knows what uncovering it might do, but these guys are willing to kill for it.

I won’t say anything else. But believe me, if you like deep stories with wife and books, you have to read this one.
